Claiming a UK tax refund if your posted to Germany.

If you’re over about 30, married and in quarters, been in the forces for years, UK based, and your credit history is good, probably not. Go to your local Ford dealer, you don’t need a broker.

If you are young, not been serving long, in barracks as a main address, are, or have been posted abroad for a period, or have ever had any credit issues, then you might find it a good idea to use us as we could save you quite a lot of money.

Credit score, that’s what it comes down to. The systems that gauge risk for lenders do not normally take in to account Forces circumstances and as a result, will often give someone a lower score, or higher risk band, because of these circumstances.

For example, if you have been in Germany or Cyprus for the last few years, if you haven’t sorted out your UK proxy address properly, it looks like you have disappeared for a while. This presents risk to a lender and may look like you have lied about your address.

If you get moved around a lot, it looks like you are unstable in your address, again, for a civilian, this is bad and presents risk for a lender as they don’t know where you, and their car will be, in three years if you stop paying for it.

If you live in barracks then that will more than likely not come up properly on you credit search as a barracks is a business address as far as a lender is concerned. Also, if you have some credit registered at your parents, some at a partners, and some at the barracks, it looks like you have multiple addresses.

This type of stuff will all negatively affect your credit score, the number to gauge your personal risk, that decides whether you are accepted for credit, and at what rate you are charged based on the risk score you have, which in most cases will not accommodate the fact that this type of information is quite normal for someone serving. What we do is very different. We will approach lenders on your behalf that are likely to offer you the best deal, and these lenders have specialist accounts with us, specifically for Forces personnel. We will argue with them for you, iron out any issues, sort your addresses in to an acceptable format, and work on your behalf to get the best we can for you. We also do not charge for this. If your application is approved, and you do go ahead with it, the lender pays us a fee. The rate you pay would be the same as if you applied to the lender direct. We save the lender the cost of a sales team, and we do much of the work on the documents which saves them money, so that’s how we make our living. In a nutshell, all we do is hold your hand through an industry you may not be familiar with, and fight on your behalf to get you the best deal we can.

If we get you approved, and you don’t like the offer, walk away for free. We only get paid if we get you the best deal and you take it up, so it’s in our interests to get you the best deal for your personal circumstances.

We can supply a vehicle as well, we have over 3000 cars and 5 branches around the UK. Or you can take our money and buy a vehicle from any licenced UK dealer. Either is fine.
